Houndmouth Live

On the evening of Tuesday June 16th, 2015 powerhouses Pandora and Taco Bell joined forces to bring an intimate and exclusive performance by Houndmouth.

Pandora hosted their listeners and special guests at the beautiful and spacious Mack Sennett Studios in Los Angeles; complete with a full open bar and free food truck with cozy outdoor seating. The free event was recorded for purposes of future broadcasting on Taco Bell’s Feed the Beat Pandora Station.

The folk rock band, consisting of Matt Myers (guitar, vocals), Katie Toupin (keyboard, vocals), Zak Appleby (bass, vocals), and Shane Cody (drums, vocals), originally from Indiana have kept busy for the past few years with a long list of massive performances. Including the Bonnaroo, SXSW, and Lollapalooza music festivals and also appearances on the Conan and Letterman late night shows. The quartet of young and attractive musicians released their second LP, Little Neon Limelight earlier this year.

Their energetic presence and lively music was happily welcomed in Los Angeles by the merry crowd. As these artists played some crowd favored tunes, the audience was also welcome to partake in additional treats like free onsite t-shirt printing of choice and a free photo booth. Their set kept the crowd alive during songs like “Sedona” and they ended with a more than respectable cover of the all-time classic “Runaround Sue.”

Houndmouth is scheduled to play a sold out show at The Troubadour on June 25th and on June 27th at the Constellation Room at the Observatory in Santa Ana.
