The 66th Annual East Los Angeles Mexican Independence Day Parade returns this Sunday, September 9 and will run all through E. Cesar Chavez Blvd. until Gage Ave. The celebration will continue at the Belvedere Park with music, entertainment, food vendors and fun for the entire family. Channel 7 and ABC and Univision will air the event. This year’s grand Marshall is Mexican singer Graciela Beltran.
The street parade will begin at 9 am followed by a street festival on Mednik between Cesar E. Chavez and First from 11am-6pm.
