If there’s an artist that revolutionized and came to be the face of pop art, that’s Andy Warhol. Whether it was his obsession with Marilyn Monroe, neon colors, or his fixation with Campbell’s soup cans, Andy Warhol undoubtedly became an icon of all things kitsch and pop. Not many knew the other Warhol side which, while still outrageous and bold, it was more toned down and grounded. The Michael Kohn Gallery proudly presents “Photographs”, a collection with over 200 black and white pictures taken by Andy Warhol.
Where: Michael Kohn Gallery 8071 Beverly Blvd. Los Angeles, Ca 90048 (323)658-8088 or visit: www.kohngallery.com
When: Now showing until August 22

| Hi, my name is Rafael Alejandro Acero Hernandez, and I'm an alcoholic. I don't drink beer. I'm addicted to chocolate. I'm a bit bipolar and every once in a while obsessive/ compulsive. I have a really short attention span. I don't believe in labels, I'm not defined by what I do or by who I do- for that matter. I'm a writer, an actor, a dancer, BUT nothing is better than being a professional a$$hole. Soy un chilango incomprendido, y como tal- valemadrista a morir. | |
