While usually poignant and pleasant, childhood memories can be like a double sided coin. For most, growing up was not all cookies and cream. So, what happens when someone decides to let loose their inner most secret feeling and unleash a lifetime of repressed unpleasant, dark and twisted childhood memories? You get an exhibit like “Inky Dreadfuls”.
The Corey Helford Gallery is proud to present “Inky Dreadfuls”, and exhibit by Tiffany Liu and Michael Mararian. Prepare yourself for a journey where you’ll have a look into the artists’ fondest visions of childhood naiveté and the long-gone “good ol’ days” in an attempt to allegorize the lost innocence of our modern times. Where: Corey Helford Gallery 8522 Washington Blvd. Culver City, CA 90232 (310)287-2340 or visit: www.coreyhelfordgallery.com When: July 19- August 9. Tuesday-Saturday 12-6pm

| Hi, my name is Rafael Alejandro Acero Hernandez, and I'm an alcoholic. I don't drink beer. I'm addicted to chocolate. I'm a bit bipolar and every once in a while obsessive/ compulsive. I have a really short attention span. I don't believe in labels, I'm not defined by what I do or by who I do- for that matter. I'm a writer, an actor, a dancer, BUT nothing is better than being a professional a$$hole. Soy un chilango incomprendido, y como tal- valemadrista a morir. | |
