Tere O'Connor is one of those choreographers that manage to turn the ordinary into something astonishing. His choreography and style are quite different from what’s out there in the current dance world. Tere O’Connor owes part of his current success to his dancers, which are able to execute and translate into movement what’s going on in his head. The dancers are rather fearless and bold. They possess strong technique, yet they’re able to execute pedestrian movement to a natural extent.
Tere O’Connor’s performance at the Skirball Cultural Center serves as a stepping stone and introduction of his style to the L.A. dance scene. Tere O’Connor and his dancers manage to transport the audience to a surreal part, most likely taking place inside the choreographer’s head… taking the spectators to a one of a kind journey.

Where: Skirball Cultural Center 2701 Sepulveda Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90049 (310)440-4500 or visit: www.skirball.org When: June 26- June 29 @ 8pm Price: General Admission: $20, Students: $15 |

| Hi, my name is Rafael Alejandro Acero Hernandez, and I'm an alcoholic. I don't drink beer. I'm addicted to chocolate. I'm a bit bipolar and every once in a while obsessive/ compulsive. I have a really short attention span. I don't believe in labels, I'm not defined by what I do or by who I do- for that matter. I'm a writer, an actor, a dancer, BUT nothing is better than being a professional a$$hole. Soy un chilango incomprendido, y como tal- valemadrista a morir. | |
