Blood & Glitter If you’re a bit iffy when it comes to art because, well- sometimes it can be boring and tedious but you’re into Rolling Stone and stuff like that, the people from the Bandini Art Gallery bring you “Blood & Glitter”, an exhibit that will giveyou’re your much needed dose of culture while still rocking hard.  Inspired by rock, punk, psychedelia, sexuality and fashion, the this exhibit includes the work of Carrie Jenkins, James Gobel, Michael Schulman, Eddie Ruscha and Alejandro Gehry.

The title of the show is drawn from Mick Rock’s book portraying the on-and-off stage lives of musicians such as David Bowie, Freddie Mercury and Iggy Pop. These musicians were among the first to collide the tough individuality of their sounds as musicians with the revolutionary style of their dress as performers, bringing elements of fantasy and reality, lipstick and leather to center stage.

Hi, my name is Rafael Alejandro Acero Hernandez, and I'm an alcoholic.   I don't drink beer.  I'm addicted to chocolate.   I'm a bit bipolar and every once in a while obsessive/ compulsive.   I have a really short attention span.  I don't believe in labels, I'm not defined by what I do or by who I do- for that matter.   I'm a writer, an actor, a dancer, BUT nothing is better than being a professional a$$hole.  Soy un chilango incomprendido, y como tal- valemadrista a morir.
