India House lunch/brunch buffet Indian food is known for having a bold spicy taste to it.  Although it’s not rare to find Indian restaurants in the L.A. area, it is hard to find a place that serves food with the right amount of spices that won’t give you indigestion or a horrible case of heartburn.   It can be quite an adventure for both you and your digestive system finding an Indian restaurant that will satisfy taste buds and meet all your culinary needs without any secondary effects.

Less is more?

When it comes to fine dining, portions are rather small.  At this fine dining places the only way you’ll be satisfied is if you opt for a 10-course meal.  So the people from India House in Buena Park got rid of that “less is more” saying by giving you all the Indian food you can eat while still keeping the “fine dining restaurant” label.

Although it’s open for lunch/ brunch/ dinner, India House is most popular at around lunch/ brunch.  Why?  The answer is simple:  buffet.   All you can eat Indian food buffet.

Whenever you think of buffet you think “lots of food”, “lots of not so tasty food”.  Not at India House.   The choices are vast and everything is just to die for.   Authentic, delicious Indian food.

A little bit of this… a little bit of that

Don’t fill up on one choice just yet.  You seriously need to try a little bit of everything.    It’s highly recommended that you visit India House on an empty stomach.  Seriously! Even if you’re full after your first serving, the food is so tasty you won’t be able to resist and most likely than not you’ll have some more food.

The menu changes every day, but among the regular dishes you’ll find: Basmati Rice, Curry Chicken, Mango Chutney, Gulab Jamun, Murgh Masalam, Seekh Kabab, Tandoori Chicken, and of course Naan- India's answer to tortillas.

Don’t Skip Dessert!

Dessert is always the highlight of every meal, if it’s not, it should be.    The folks from India House don’t have any fancy schmancy dessert menu.  At least not for the lunch/ brunch bunch.    They keep it simple--- the Indian version of “arroz con leche”.
Their take on “arroz con leche” looks just like the one your mom makes, same texture, same color… everything seems to be the same.  But once you get a taste of that, you’ll be speechless. It’s seriously out of this world.

Bollywood

One of the things that make India House a cool place to have lunch (other than the yummy food) it’s the ambiance.  On the main screen they’re playing musical clips from the newest and hottest Bollywood films.

Other than Hollywood, India is on top when it comes to film production- musicals being their forte.

If you haven’t seen Bollywood films and are not familiar with this type of cinema you’ll love the slight taste of Bollywood you’ll get at India House.   Enough food, music and dance to lift your spirts… even on a Monday!
