The folks from Thai Original B.B.Q. Restaurant where not kidding when they named this joint.  Podiendo haber escogido otros nombres mucho más originales y catchy, los cuates de Thai Original B.B.Q. se decidieron por algo simple y self-describable.   Aunque hay locales de comida china a más no poder, es un poco más difícil encontrar establecimientos que se especialicen en good old fashioned thai food.   Fortunately for you, el que busca encuentra, y aunque a veces es desesperante encontrar un buen thai food place, es gratificante cuando por fin das con uno que sirve good scrumptious thai food.

Haciéndole honor al nombre

El restaurante no se llama Thai Original B.B.Q. just because.  El nombre lo dice todo: ahí encontrarás entre otras cosas, their thai take on B.B.Q., no matter what you get it will rock your world.

Si estás a dieta, you’ll like this place ya que sirven porciones razonables, not too small nor too “super-size” but just right.   El lugar es pequeño but it’s never too packed ya que varias personas ordenan su comida “to-go”.  Either way, el tamaño de Thai Original B.B.Q. can be a killer for many, especialmente si eres medio claustrofóbico or you have long legs.  Fuera de eso es un cozy restaurant, pretty chill y hasta relajante.  El personal es super amable y siempre están al pendiente de los comensales.

B.B.Q. and noodles, noodles and B.B.Q.

Yes, they’re a “B.B.Q.” place, pero no es lo único que sirven.  De hecho, sus platillos más populares son los noodles.   Dos de los “most wanted” son el “mint leaf chicken” y el “drunken noodle”.  

El platillo de “mint leaf chicken” viene con pollo marinado con una salsa que entre otras cosas incluye menta, it’s actually spicy and tasty.   Now, if you don’t care what your food looks like as long as it tastes good, you must order the “drunken noodle”.  Este platillo está de poca mother, you’ll be coming back to this place just for this.  Aunque se llama “drunken noodle” no tiene alcohol... it’s drunk noodles, not drenched in alcohol, but in taste.  

Shake it off

Unfortunately for many, no tienen un dessert menu en Thai Original B.B.Q. place.  But if you’re craving something sweet, simplemente ordena un “thai ice coffee”.  It will satisfy your sweet tooth and it will help you settle and digest all that delightful food.  Definitivamente a must-check-out place set to become one of your fave grub spots.
