not particularly tallFound Gallery in LA presents “Not Particularly Tall” a collaboration exhibit between artists A and K.  Since both artists happen to be on the short side,  they have decided to dedicate their first formal showing together to their lack of tallness.

They cleverly play the “size doesn’t matter” card throughout the exhibit.  Instead of coming off as whiney and bitter,  their new work combines all sorts of materials into a colorful, craft-inspired reflection on the institution of holidays, where repetition is a key tenant in defining ritual.

Hi, my name is Rafael Alejandro Acero Hernandez, and I'm an alcoholic.   I don't drink beer.  I'm addicted to chocolate.   I'm a bit bipolar and every once in a while obsessive/ compulsive.   I have a really short attention span.  I don't believe in labels, I'm not defined by what I do or by who I do- for that matter.   I'm a writer, an actor, a dancer, BUT nothing is better than being a professional a$$hole.  Soy un chilango incomprendido, y como tal- valemadrista a morir.
