Dance has become quite popular these last couple of years, in part thanks to the omnipresent reality television. Love it or loathe it, Reality TV sometimes has an effect on society, this time around it has been educating and encouraging people to venture into the world of dance.  With many types of dance out there, one of the dance forms that is always revolutionizing dance is modern dance, a true art form. 

Because of modern dance, people have been able to express emotions, tell stories, give their point of views, challenge society, and inevitably create unique works of art.  Modern dance is perhaps the most free spirited dance form, it’s very open and all inclusive. 

AXIS Dance Company's mission is to create and perform high quality contemporary dance that is developed through the collaboration of dancers with and without disabilities. AXIS teaches dance and educates about collaboration and disability through community outreach and education programs. AXIS is committed to promoting and supporting physically integrated dance, locally, nationally and internationally.

Axis Dance Company is a vivid example of the variety inside this dance form since it’s made up of dancers with and without physical disabilities.   This is definitely a must-watch show.  Tremendously inspiring, touching, and simply beautiful.
