Address: 811 Wilshire Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90017 Phone: (213) 236-9600 The Basics: “Elevate Lounge” is one of those venues in L.A. where it’s impossibly hard to go in thanks to its popularity. While it’s just a lounge, its spacious dance floor, its view, and its hot-spot status and occasional celeb sightings give it an extra oomph. “Elevate Lounge” is located in the heart of Downtown L.A., on the 21st floor of one of the many buildings along Wilshire Blvd. No other lounge is as “L.A.” as this one, the view is superb, the atmosphere chic, the people a tad snobby, and the drinks ridiculously expensive.
Again, it’s a hard place to get into. Hard but not impossible. You can get in for sure if you make reservations at the adjacent restaurant and eat before, if you order bottle service or if you happen to be on the guest list. In spite of all the trouble to get in and the fuss surrounding “Elevate”, it can turn out to be a fun experience. Hours: Wednesday- Sunday, 9pm-3am Also, keep an eye on these:Green Door 1429 Ivar Ave Los Angeles, CA 90028-4605 Phone: (323) 463-0008

| Hi, my name is Rafael Alejandro Acero Hernandez, and I'm an alcoholic. I don't drink beer. I'm addicted to chocolate. I'm a bit bipolar and every once in a while obsessive/ compulsive. I have a really short attention span. I don't believe in labels, I'm not defined by what I do or by who I do- for that matter. I'm a writer, an actor, a dancer, BUT nothing is better than being a professional a$$hole. Soy un chilango incomprendido, y como tal- valemadrista a morir. | |
