The Basics: Clubbing in the Hollywood area can be a tricky thing.  Most of us hate the drama and the long lines, and some of us don’t mind the waiting and the occasional bumps on the road.  It’s Hollywood after all, so long lines at trendy clubs are a must.  If you’re not into waiting and stuff, you might as well just throw a party in your backyard.  “Nacional” is and has been a trendy nightspot for a couple of years now, and even though it’s not as hot among celebrities as it used to be, it still attracts a trendy hip crowd, especially on Fridays.

If there’s one thing about “Nacional” that separates them from the rest and makes it so sleek and chic its it’s décor- “Nacional” has presumably one the best decor of the clubs/ bars in Hollywood. The first floor has a very loungey feel to it thanks to some couches and a cool fireplace.  Something that will throw  you off, yet is unique it’s the fact that they have unisex restrooms at this place- very 90’s chic of them.  Unlike other clubs when late at night the smell of sweat and cologne are overpowering, at “Nacional”, the smell of wood burning keeps things fresh.   Even though it’s pretty crowded, the upstairs bar provides some relief form the jam-packed dance floor.
