Based in Los Angeles, casebolt and smith are an emerging duet/dance/theatre company comprised of co-artistic directors Liz Casebolt and Joel Smith.  Ever since they started working together, casebolt and smith have been commited to exploring the collaborative process as a means of creating clever, socially charged and humorous dances that challenge traditional representations of marginalized bodies.
This weekend will be the world premiere of their newest material “In Other Words” as part of the “New Dance at Saint Joseph Ballet”.  Artistic  Director Melanie Rios Glaser presents this event- a rare Orange County gathering of contemporary dance makers.  It features world premiers by casebolt and smith and other local Southern California  artists: contra-tiempo, NUGENT DANCE, Rebecca Pappas and Melanie Rios Glaser.
