The Silent Movie TheatreEverybody knows that Hollywood is the movie capital of the world, so it is no surprise that the efforts to have some decent movie theaters are greater than in any other cities.  However, there is one particular venue by Melrose Avenue that is definitely one of the most unique movie-going experiences in the L.A. area, none other than “The Silent Movie Theatre”.  This theatre has managed to stay open since 1942 and it is currently the only existing silent movie theatre in the US, thanks to that, its intimate setting, ts antique décor and its location, this venue has gained a certain amount of glamour.  Each screening consists of a cartoon, several short films and the main feature. To make things even more appealing and interesting, a pianist accompanies the films, providing a lively interaction hat will definitely transport you back in time, something you will definitely not get from a regular movie-going experience. Other than the theatre, the venue has a coffee lounge which is open during intermission, a photo gallery and a courtyard.   It’s an opportunity to step back in time for a few hours and experience early cinema.  Great atmosphere, comfy couches, amazing programming and popcorn.

Hi, my name is Rafael Alejandro Acero Hernandez, and I'm an alcoholic.   I don't drink beer.  I'm addicted to chocolate.   I'm a bit bipolar and every once in a while obsessive/ compulsive.   I have a really short attention span.  I don't believe in labels, I'm not defined by what I do or by who I do- for that matter.   I'm a writer, an actor, a dancer, BUT nothing is better than being a professional a$$hole.  Soy un chilango incomprendido, y como tal- valemadrista a morir.
