Santa Monica Highways Performance Space presents “Go Metro…” a production by choreographer Jamie Benson and fashion designer Andrae Gonzalo.  They return for another surreal but comedic look at the metropolitan experience, exploring characters and scenarios inspired by real individuals they have encountered on the elaborate caste structure that is L.A.’s public transportation system.   

Body Rock is one the biggest Hip Hop dance competitions on this side of the country. Whether you’re into hip-hop or not this is a must watch competition.  The dancers will blow your mind away- defying gravity, sense and sensibility.  Prepare to see hundreds of dancers leave their heart on stage, popping, locking and dropping it like it’s hot. 

The Fountain Theatre proudly presents “Forever Flamenco”, a series shown in the venue the first and third Sunday of every month.  Perhaps the hottest flamenco in town can be found at this show, which is a thrilling combination of prepared work and spontaneous exploration. The quarterly series for interdisciplinary experimentation continues with a curated program of six new works and works-in-progress by Los Angeles dance, theater, music and multimedia artists. This is a unique chance to see creation in progress as young artists develop pieces of art and play it out for an audience whilst still in its raw state.
