The basics:  When planning a night out either with the guys or with the girls… or even for a date, you have to consider many things and thoughtfully plan your evening.   Dinner and some drinks are usually the way to go.  If you happen to be in the Hermosa Beach area or simply feel like being closer to the ocean, “Sangria” is definitely the place to do both.  Although the food is not memorable, the tapas are great; however, when going to “Sangria” you have to see it more like a club, otherwise you’ll be highly disappointed.

The Basics: Here’s another cool joint to party that’s not in the middle of the chaos called Hollywood and its surrounding areas.  Long Beach’s night scene is getting popular by the minute.  Mai Tai Bar is a place to have drinks with friends, catch a buzz, mingle, listen to some live music, and get your freak on.  However, Mai Tai is not for everyone since it tends to be extremely packed and at times dull.  It’s one of those places that are better when you go with a big fun crowd.

The Basics: Gone are the days when you had to drive all the way to Downtown LA or Hollywood to unleash your inner party monster.   The night scene in the met and sub areas is slowly but steadily growing.  Yes, it’s been here for a while, but for some odd reason it dissolved but lucky for you it’s coming back.  Cohiba is one club to watch out for… you will certainly have a blast.

The Basics: Clubbing in the Hollywood area can be a tricky thing.  Most of us hate the drama and the long lines, and some of us don’t mind the waiting and the occasional bumps on the road.  It’s Hollywood after all, so long lines at trendy clubs are a must.  If you’re not into waiting and stuff, you might as well just throw a party in your backyard.  “Nacional” is and has been a trendy nightspot for a couple of years now, and even though it’s not as hot among celebrities as it used to be, it still attracts a trendy hip crowd, especially on Fridays.
