Ziing's
Address: 209 N Harbor Blvd
                 Fullerton , CA 92832
                 Phone: (714) 526-5777

The Basics: During the day Ziing’s is just another restaurant, serving Asian cousine.  Even though no es nada de otro mundo they manage to be extremely popular.  They’re not popular for their food or their appetizers but for their bar/ club ambiance.  Once the sun goes down it turns into party town en el corazón de Downtown Fullerton.  With so many clubs to choose from in the area, all of them feet apart from each other, if you’re new to the scene, Ziing’s is the way to go- definitely the perfect party starter.
Ziing's After Hours has built a solid reputation as one of the OC's premiere night spots. Known for its cool crowd, exceptional music and comfortable amenities set in a sexy, stylish, Asian-American motif, this DJ lounge has something for everyone.
The dance floor is small, but that has never stopped everybody to get their freak on. The Dj’s usually spin the best of Top 40 and hip-hop beats, every once in a while they’ll throw in some oldies para los maduritos.   The crowd is pretty much made up of twenty-somethings that want to have fun, get drunk, and why not- hook up.   Take it easy on the drinks, they’re so spiked two of them will be enough to get you buzzed; unless you want to get severely wasted and get the blackout of a lifetime, stay away from their Long Island Iced Tea.

What to drink:  Ziing’s has two novelty drinks that are not so bad: Bomb Pop Martini- Ziing’s original blend of raspberry, tropical flavors, and lots of vodka; or the Love You Long Time- with Stoli Razberi Vodka, Strawberry-Kiwi Infusion Liqueur and citrus juices.

The Mayan Print E-mail

The Mayan
Address: 1038 S Hill St
              Los Angeles, CA 90015
              Phone: (213) 746-4674

The Basics: The Mayan has been around for quite some time now. If for some reason you haven’t gotten your groove on at The Mayan, right now is the perfect time to do so.  The Mayan is known for being a “salsa club” and even though there’s a lot of truth to that- it’s more than a mere “salsa club”.  Friday nights at The Mayan prove to be an exciting experience.  The venue is filled with Pre-Hispanic Mayan decor and architecture, hence the name “The Mayan”.
If you enjoy but are not entirely into salsa, merengue, cumbia, and all those latin tingued dance styles, you’ll have a blast Friday night’s at this club.  On the main dance floor you’ll find hip-hop, reggaeton, some top 40 and rock en español.  The atmosphere is great, everybody seems to be having the time of their lives- either dancing their socks off or drinking and enjoying the ambiance.
The drinks are affordable and quite strong, you won’t need more than 2 drinks to get a buzz.
On the second floor you will find salsa, meringue, cumbia, punta, even some samba- even though it’s also a fun environment, it’s a bit difficult to dance comfortably since it’s jam packed, but even so, you’ll find yourself having a good time- even after being elbowed and elbowing a couple of people.  It’s good old fun to the max.
One thing to keep an eye out is their go-go dancers.  When it comes to go-go dancers at clubs it’s hard to find a balance between hot and sexy girls and girls that can actually dance.  At The Mayan the girls are hot, sexy, fun and most important of all: they can dance!  Great eye candy for the fellas.

80s club Addictions
Address: 9559 E. Imperial Hwy.
                 Downey, CA 90242
                (562)688-8128

The Basics: 80’s nostalgia seems to be hitting pretty hard lately.  This past couple of years, the 80’s underground scene has been alive and well thanks to various clubs and venues in the L.A. area.   Now in Downey you can find a way to go back to the 80’s without having to go through all that painful traffic that’s always clustering freeways and streets, especially during the weekend.
If you enjoy vintage Madonna, Michael Jackson before going nuts, New Order, Depeche Mode, Cindy Lauper, and all the 80’s hits and one hit wonders, you’ll definitely have a blast in 80’s Club Addiction.  Although it has been up and running for several years now, it’s until recently that the club’s popularity began to grow thanks to the always powerful word of mouth.
Forget about all those Hollywood pretentious beeyotches and be ready to just have a good time, no b.s., just good old fun.  Another thing to add to this club’s advantage is the cost, everything is über affordable- cover and drinks, plus, there are no issues with parking, for once prepare yourself to arrive to the venue and start dancing from the moment you hit the parking lot.
