I was born in 1981 in a small city near Mexico D.F. named "Ixtapan De La Sal" (Estado de Mexico). I never really got to enjoy living there because I was raised in the SGV, city of Azusa; which by the way if you didn't know they had no idea how to name the city so they just got the first letter of the Alphabet (A) and the last (Z) and then add "usa". Then I moved to the OC and started working for Al Borde in 2003; my first cover for AB was "Mujer Power".
Then I created other covers such as the ones for "Elephant", "Rabanes", "Kinky", "Allison", "El Gran Silencio", "La Gusana Ciega", "Ozomatli", "Pastilla", "Huecco", "Sizu" and "Calle 13" just to name a few. I'v been doing Graphics, illustrations, Mural's, Sketching, Photography, and Interior Design since 1998. And in 2002 I graduated with an Associates Degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of California, Los Angeles in the city of Santa Monica. Since then I've done work for Universal, Paramount, Starbucks, Adidas, Nike, JC Penny, Tower Records, Nextel/Sprint and a couple others.
I have to say that the style I carry is more of a street style design... more L.A. I'v been influenced by big artist and designers such as Obey, Revok, Mr. Cartoon, Saber, Retna, Asylm, Pysa 73, The Firm Graphics, Kofie, Craola, Bas Pringle, The Seventh Letter Crew.
