The last trailer for the sequel to Michael Bay’s widely panned Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series hit the web today, and unlike the first installment, Out of the Shadows continues to look like they’re attempting to write many of their previous issues.
The tone is lighter. Shredder isn’t some weird robot with multiple blades. Krang is here. And so are Bebop and Rocksteady!
While the trailer doesn’t necessarily offer too much in the way of new footage, the fact that they’re introducing the characters makes it seem like they’re going for the more kid friendly flick that the Turtles initially brought when they debuted on TV as opposed to the dark version that hit theaters 2014.
